Hi,

I am trying to follow the Xperience by Kentico tutorial: https://docs.kentico.com/tutorial/developer-tutorial/set-up-an-xperience-by-kentico-project.

But I got error when executing this command: dotnet kentico-xperience-dbmanager

Error installing the database Query: Update [CMS_SettingsKey] Set KeyValue='29.3.0' Where KeyName='CMSDBVersion' Caused exception: Invalid object name 'CMS_SettingsKey'.

any idea?

Thanks Wei Wang

Hi Wei, I have seen this same error when attempting to install the database to a version of SQL Server that is lower than what is required. Can you please check to make sure you are meeting the System requirements, in particular, at least SQL Server 2019?

I would also suggest checking that the specified user account that you are using for SQL Server has the right permissions. There are a few other suggestions here as well: Database connection problems if you haven't seen them already. I hope this helps!
