Windows ad authentication without domain name.

Hi,

I have imported the users from AD and saved their user name without the AD domain prefix. Now my requirement is that I will use windows authentication and the user should able to login without domain prefix automatically in the web site. So can anyone please help me to resolve the issue. Thanks in advance.
