Windows AD authentication does not include email, firstname, lastname when user is created

Nattawut Comlon asked on October 14, 2015 00:58

I followed the steps to enable Windows AD authentication. After I visited the admin site, it automatically create my user account in CMS for me. However, I noticed that the email address and first name, last name are not populated from AD.

I am wondering, is there any other settings that I have to do? I am trying to find if there's a way to set the mapping for AD but haven't found it.

It's Kentico version 8.0. The site setup locally on my development PC which belong to the domain.

Please, if anyone have any suggestion, please let me know.

Thank you.

Out of the box, this is only supported using the AD Import Utility.
