You can create a widget and embed/integrate whatever WYSIWYG editor you want. The reasons why they are different were just to show there are also options than CKEditor and the Froala editor was lighweight enough to be integrated and their licensing also allowed the integration. If you want to use CKEditor in your widgets, it is up to you to create such a widget and use CKEditor API to integrate it into your widget.
