Webpart's Update Panel is not showing loading icon

I use webpart's update panel. The webpart is a radgrid, it is loading new date fine. But it is not showing loading icon.

Hi,

You have mentioned that you are using RadGrid web part, but I cannot find this web part in the system, is that your custom web part?

Also the picture is not available anymore, could you please upload it again? You could attach the image right to your message, so I would prefer this way.
