Webpart for Updating/Creating node

Is there a webpart to use for updating/creating a node on the front end of a kentico site? I have tried the dataform, but unless there is something that I am missing, it doesn't actually update or create the node. I know one option is to customize the onaftersave event on the dataform and actually create/update the node manually...but looking for an easier option if it exists.
