Webdav help

Is there any place that I can find the specifications for making webdav work? we're having issues with some users but not all and am not really sure how to pinpoint the problem.

I know that if IE is 64bit then the Office app has to be 64bit as well, beyond that I don't know what else to do to troubleshoot it.
