URL Redirects for Legacy Links from old site

Gabriel Tinnaro asked on May 26, 2015 17:53

We're setting up our new Kentico site to replace our old Cold Fusion one, and I'd love to be able to redirect users of our old content to the appropriate new page.

I've tried setting up URL Aliases, but the dot in the URL seems to interfere with it and "wildcard" urls don't seem to match the way I thought they might. Any idea what syntax I can use to capture a url that would look like http://www.yourdomain.com/page_content.cfm?id=1240 in a URL Alias?

Don't add the extension in the actual URL, add it to the extension field.

I must not be doing this right -- should the alias configuration look like this? (see image at link)

Don't add the period. Just the extension, cfm
