I'd refer to the same question you asked about upgrading v11 to v13.

Short answer is no you can't upgrade but yes you can migrate.

Hi Ethan,

The short answer is - it depends. The straightaway upgrade could only be possible if your K10 site was built on MVC (which is a very rare case), then you could upgrade to K13 MVC in theory.

In the reality though it will likely be a full rebuild, rather than just an upgrade. Some of the custom code however you would be able to migrate I think.

Hi Dmitry Bastron, My K10 site was built on Portal Engine. I think should start with a new v13 .NET Core/MVC instance after move code (can reuse) by manual to K13. Please more advance! Thank you

If you will be starting fresh, I'd recommend doing it in v13 .NET Core from the beginning. There is no benefit starting with classic .NET MVC because this technology will not be supported in future versions of Kentico.

Cost could be $1000 USD or it could be $1,000,000 USD OR anything between. There is no cookie cutter or base price.
