I'm trying to install kentico on my local computer to do some development, but it keeps installing it to IIS Express even though i have IIS install on my machine. Any idea why it is doing this?
Figured it out. Turns out I didn't have all the .net features installed. Had to install the .net features under IIS not just the stand alone ones that are listed at the top of the windows app installer.

Also, setup a new site location in IIS so you can pick the location here
When I am on that page, I have local IIS selected, but I don't get the dropdown to select the site.
Can you try remove your IIS Express?
I did uninstall IIS Express, but it reinstall it (seemingly) when i try to do a new site install.
Is you local IIS active or has other site running on it? Maybe you need to do a reg_iis for .net to recognize it.
