System error

Hi everyone!

I´m having a problem, I duplicated my website because we will install a traffic manager.

I finished the copy and obviosly I have to go to sites to change the domain for this copy but there is where the problem comes.

I loged in, but it sends an system error "An error occurred and your request couldn't be completed. Click here to go back to the home page". Going to home page and there have the error of the domain on sites obviusly but I can´t log in.

Check to see if your IIS is pointing to the /CMS folder.

Another option is to add the new domain alias in the current site and make another DB backup and restore.

It's not clear.

Are you trying to setup web farm? If so, you can login from the original website /admin and add the domain alias for the 2nd instance.

No, I'm not trying to setup webfarm. I just want to get a complete copy of the website. I did this before and have no problem, but now I have that message.

You are right! I just added a new domain alias and make another backup and everthing works well.
