Sync kentico project from azure web app to visual studio project

I opened kentico12 webapplication hosted on azure in my visual studio project using "Open From Azure Websites" The website was downloaded successfully into my project. I want to know if there is any downside to this procedure with kentico though every thing seems to work perfectly at the moment.

If it works and the site properly builds then I'd say you're ok. That being said, if the website has any custom projects included with it, you might want to make sure you get those projects as well because they are typically not deployed as a standalone project, but rather a compiled dll.
