HI all
Is there any way to make some sections in content tree as a sub domain? -root -PageA --PageB (accessing this page using url.site.com instead of site.com/pageA/PageB.aspx)
when i type url.site.com system actually show me the PageB content.
Hello Benyamin,
Yes, this is possible because when you are setting the domain alias, you can specify a Default alias path as you can read also in the Documentation: Setting domain names for sites
Best regards, Martin
this is not working Domain Alias : (http://)search.taidcms7.com Default alias path: /Search
when i type http://search.taidcms7.com ,"The Page can not be displayed" shown
You need also the license key for the Domain alias. You can ask for it in the Client portal.
HI Martin Danko i how two question 1)witch type of license i must request? 2)for making part of tree as a sub domain do we need to make another configuration on iis or kentico?
with best regards
The answer to your first question could be found on our website -> Licensing FAQ - My site uses several domains. Do I have to pay for all of them?
And no, there is no additional configuration required for adding a domain alias for part of your content tree. As you can see in the Documentation - Adding domain aliases, you can specify for every sub-domain Default alias path.
