smart search results default results

Hi,

How can you display default results in smart search result . I am using it with smart search filter but on page load i need to display all results from the index selected. How can i do this. right now page load is empty and when i type some thing in search box filter text box mode then it display results ?

textbox mode is kinda exception(see documentation). I did configured it for tags like in the example and it seems to work.

Smart search results web part has 2 check boxes:

  1. in Search Settings check Search on each page load
  2. in Input validation uncheck Search text required

My Smart Search Filter (Textbox Filter mode) stopped working after this. When i type some text, it just refresh it self and bring all results, not the filtered ones. Have I missed any thing in here ?
