Showing error while add pages to the newly created site in kentico 13

Hi, i am using kentico 13 mvc application .now am having single site . while trying to add page on the site, it shows the below error. "An error occurred while attempting to retrieve page templates. Contact your system administrator and check that the page builder feature is registered correctly in the MVC project." and also i added builder.UseResourceSharingWithAdministration(); in my applicationconfig file,but still it showing the same, so can anyone help me to resolve this?

Hi,

some things to check or rule out:

  • Anything in the EventLog?
  • Does it happen to other pages (with PageBuilder) in the application?
  • Is it only for new page or also on existing ones?
  • Do you use Workflows?
  • Projects Build without error (both MVC and CMS)?
  • Valid licenses for both sites (MVC site and CMS)?
  • Can they reach each other properly (any web farm errors or firewall restrictions)?
  • Does anything of the live site itself run?

I would try looking into this thread. Also, you may need to configure SSL and use HTTPS protocol as new browsers require secure connection.
Moreover, the UseResourceSharingWithAdministration was deprecated in version 12 with hotfix 30. So it does nothing in Kentico 13 and you can remove it.
