Restrict specific role to see only a given directory in content tree

Hi,

I have a group of users assigned to Role X. I would like only one specific folder within the content tree to be visible to these users. Quickest way to achieve this?

I can restrict them from all other folders using the Properties > Security tab but this is a very manual process when my site has many folders. Furthermore, if a user then creates another folder, these users can view this newly-created folder until I amend the security permissions on it.

I'm looking for a way to say "X Role can see only X Folder". Is it possible?

If you're wishing to limit what they see in the content tree in Kentico, you can set the users "Starting path" property to any relative value for the site. For instance, /group-1.
