Restoring Event Log

While monitoring events on the site I tried to reset filters and cleared the log by mistake. Is there a way of restoring the events lost?

As far as I know there is no way to restore data unless you have db backup

If you do not have a DB backup of full transaction log on the SQL server side, then there is no way how to restore the Event log entries.
