Mak, have you read the documentation on Staging? It has your instructions to setup your servers. The the source is where you want to sync from and the target is where you want to sync the changes to.

First enable Staging on the source by going to Settings -> Versioning & synchronization -> Staging and check the client items you wish to sync.

Then go to the target server and enable staging by going to Settings -> Versioning & synchronization -> Staging and checking enable the service and enter a username and password. This is all you need on the target server.

Now go back to the source server and navigate to the staging app and add a new server. Enter the server address and click test. Then enter the username and password you entered on the target server and save. You're now ready.

Go make a change to a page and navigate back to the staging app, you'll see a task in the list to sync.

What license do you have? Content Staging is only available in EMS, Ultimate or Base with Advanced package (pre v8). If you don't have one of those licenses, you will have to manually do the work again.
