Protection of Personal Identifiable Information in EMS and Forms

I was wondering if there is anything in Kentico that will help with protecting Personal Identifiable Information (PII). I think one solution is to encrypt the entire database.

Is there a way just o encrypt only the PII fields in EMS and Forms? Maybe a check box indicating it requires encryption.

Also, What is the DataProtectID field in the Forms Module?

I don't believe there is a "checkbox" for that but I know in the API there is at least 1 helper class EncryptionHelper which you could use if you wrote your own handlers or custom events.

Thanks Brenden was hoping something in the box. Looks we might have to do the entire db unless Kentico 9 add this option in the future.
