Product options

Hi,
We have a document type for clothes. Every clothes may have sizes like XL, L, S and ... If I'm not wrong, I must create Product options. The problem is that for every cloth with XL size, we need to create new product option because one product has XL and L but other one has XL and S. Is there any other way to create a list of sizes and then define that which sizes belong to a product? Price of any size are the same.

Hi, Which version of Kentico are you using? In Kentico 8 we introduced new product option management. Store managers can choose which product options from a category will be available for a product. You can learn more at Kentico documentation: Working with product options.

Our Kentico version is 7. Is there anyway to implement this functionality into 7?

Hello Ali,

Yes, there is a way but you will need to develop a whole functionality on your own. I believe this is probably not a real option for you as it will require a lot of complex customizations.

So the best solution for you in this case is to upgrade to Kentico 8.
