In my site when the order is placed it display the notification emil in the sent item. but i didnt receive any email to my inbox. what can be the reason for that

If Kentico shows it under sent emails it is sent. Check your spam box. If message is not there I'd check mail server - maybe it does not function correcly or blocks that emails for some reason.

Server Side reasons

Check if your email has left email queue and is showing part of emails sent. If NO,

Do you have Email settings in place?

Is your SMTP server settings correct?

I agree with Roman, Ramesh. Check the email queue (make sure you have it turned on in Settings). If no emails waiting to be sent, check the event log. If email is in Sent tab, check your spam box. If it is still in the Queue window, and there are errors, check the error. This typically means there is a connectivity issue to your SMTP relay service.
