Page nesting for a child of a content-only page

Canelle Michel asked on January 10, 2019 10:00

Hi,

I have the following structure in my content tree : -- Root (master page) ---- Page 1(menu item page type) ------ Page 2 (custom page type) -------- Page 3 (content-only page type) ---------- Page 4 (custom page type)

I'd like to have the page 4 nested into the root page. In its template I did set the 'Page nesting' field to Specific content tree levels (level 0) . However, when I preview/edit page 4, the ancestor page content isn't displayed - so I wondered if it was possible at all to do page nesting for children of a content-only page? Moreover, when I move page 4 wherever, page nesting then correctly works.

Thanks!

Canelle

EDIT: that's actually not possible, out of design.

So you want level4 to use the Master page of your root?

Selecting 'Only the nearest master page' should be easiest.

Hi David,

Thanks for your answer, but I've tried that as well and sadly it doesn't work.
