What do you mean by the output format? Like what html is wrapped around each control or something different?

Hi Brenden,

In the forms app, fields there is a section called: Editing control settings. For data/time fields it offers two options:

1) Transformation 2) Output format

It should be possible to use Output format to apply a format like MM.dd.yyyy to the date field when displayed as a lable. But I have no idea of the required syntax.

Hi,

I assume you've set the Default value field to the current date using the macro {%DateTime.Now|(identity)GlobalAdministrator%}

Result: November 1 2015

Greets,

David
