Order paid trigger for marketing automation

I'm wanting to send an email and other collateral when a certain product is purchased. the problem I'm running into is that the trigger is firing on order status "New". Is there some way to make sure the order is in a "paid" or "Payment Received" status with the automation triggers? I can't come up with a macro for that.

There is no workflow or automated process for this as of yet. So you'd have to create a global handler to do this work for you. I just went through this for a client a month or two ago.
