Order of new pages in content tree

Duncan Koza asked on October 30, 2020 19:03

Hi,

Every time I add a new page in the content tree, it gets added to the bottom. Is it possible to reverse this action so any new pages get added to the top?

I came accross this link but was wondering if there was a setting in Kentico

That article is really old and there was a setting introduce long time ago. I would recommend checking the documentation, especially the content management settings. There is the New page order setting which can be set to alphabetical, first or last. (Sample screen shot)

oh, cool. Thanks Juraj. Now that I am thinking about it, the default Alphabetical is best, but in our news section, First would be ideal. It is possible to have that setting change to 'First' but only for certain nodes in my content tree?

I am afraid but that setting applies to all section in the content tree as the items are loaded and managed as one data set.
