Not able to select document type query in kentico7

i have created new widget in kentico-7.but, i am not able to select particular query of document type.can you please help me regarding this query?

Is your document type connected to the current site?

Are you attempting to allow the editor to select a query or are you doing it while setting up the widget (so basically in the web part)?
