Navigation Question

I am generating my sites navigation using a hierarchical transformation and a universal viewer. Can someone please direct me to the documentation that describes how to enable other document types(other than page(menu Item) to be displayed as navigation.

I am using Kentico 7, and I have tried adding my document type to the content filter for my universal viewer.

Any doc type can be used as a "navigation" item. When setting up your webpart, you need to include those doc types in the "Content filter" section. Right now, it probably only says cms.menuitem.

That was the first thing I tried. Seems odd that they are not being displayed. I will keep debugging.

Hello,

you need to also specify the document types for each item transformation you have in your hierarchical transformation. I also recommend to use the Hierarchical viewer or please make sure the Universal viewer has the Load hierarchical data property checked.
