multilingual email template for user registration

Hello, I'm trying to send an multilingual email template for user registration. the template used is the default one (Membership.Registration) however i've changed the content to use resource strings ({$Site.Welcome$}) which are translated into 5 languages. also the registration page is translated into the same 5 languages. the issue is no matter what language the registration page, the email received is always in english, even though the page would have been in french or spanish.

Please advise. Thanks

Hi,

does the new registered user have a correct info in its profile registered? Preferred culture for instance?

Do you use the default multi language support in the pages module?

Hello,

Preferred content culture: default (regardless of language of registration page)

The registration page: single page, single template, each language has a different "Page URL Path"

Shouldn't the email template just resolve into the appropriate language(the culture of the current page.)?
