If the selected language is not included inside the localization package for the UI. How to insert the new language?

Hi,

I think first you need to copy language resource file to CMSResources then in Kentico Admin go to Configuration > Localization > Cultures. Select culture and check inside Is UI culture.

Note also that resource file will be names with culture code. Example: CMS.de-de.resx (german), CMS.hr-hr.resx (croatian ), CMS.sk-sk.resx (Slovak)... etc.

Do you mean the language resource file from the localization package? What if the language file is not there?

Hi,

you can download language files here for different versions: http://devnet.kentico.com/download/localization-packs

For version 8 install Kentico full installation (in installation you can select languages) and grab missing file.

Hi,

the UI translations, localization packages are made by Kentico partners usually. It looks like no one from the partners did the Malaysian translation yet. You will need to create it on your own.
