Missing Sharepoint Connections menu item

Cole Lanum asked on November 15, 2022 20:29

We are wanting to test out connecting our intranet to Sharepoint, but on a fresh install of 8.2, we're missing the Sharepoint Connections menu item. I've verified that the Sharepoint module is assigned to the site and I even installed the Sharepoint SDK on the server.

We are attempting to follow https://docs.xperience.io/k82/integrating-3rd-party-systems/integrating-sharepoint

Is there something else we need to check to get it to show up?

CMS version: 8.2 Build: 8.2.0 OS version: Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.20348.0 License info: test.newcomer.local, UltimateV7, 1/1/0001 12:00:00 AM, 08

This is strange, I just tested it and it is working fine. When you install a fresh copy of Kentico 8.2, install all the modules and apply the same license key, do you have the same issue? I would maybe double check that the module is really installed.

I would double check the domain name you are using to log into the admin UI and the license keys you are using are really Ultimate or Enterprise marketing edition and that there are no other keys which are expired or with lower edition.

I have confirmed the license matches between the Client Portal and on the license page in Kentico. There is only one license installed and the domain matches between Client Portal, license page in Kentico and the URL I'm using. On the license page it says the edition is "Ultimate (new)".
