Marketing Automation - Multiple concurrent processes for a contact

James Munro asked on November 18, 2015 10:42

How can I configure a marketing automation process so that a single contact can spawn multiple concurrent processes within an automation process.

For example, a contact purchases a specific product that triggers an automation process to run for 6 months. If the contact buys the same product after 3 months can I make it so that the automation process triggers a second process for this contact that are both running at the same time (i.e. one with 3 months remaining, one with 6 months remaining)?

My suggestion would be to create a contact groups for every concurrent process, so that customer enters that group but stays in current process, than you create a different process which contains a trigger when contact enters that "new" group" in that case he will be in same process at the same time.
