login form with registration

I am facing a problem, I registered users by using ‘’ login form with registration’’ webpart, but I cannot login with users other than administrator. How to troubleshoot this or check this? I registered more users but no one is able to login. “Your login attempt was not successful. Please try again.” This message is showing while attempting to login. Please help me.

Under each individual user, please make sure that they are "Enabled". Also make sure they have a role assigned and that the role has the proper permissions. Finally make sure they are assigned to the site and that the role is also assigned to the site.

In addition to what Charles mentioned, make sure your Membership settings aren't requiring the user to validate through email. Have you checked the event logs to see if there is an error?

I think there is a property on the login/registration webpart to assign the users to a site. I would make sure that is set, otherwise you will create users, but not be able to use them in the site. This has been a common issue for us in the past. For the users that are already in the system, you will have to go manually add them to the site. I would guess that this is the issue you are facing.

Hi,

Thanks for all supporting answers.It found working fine now .Username i given for logging was the Firstname in the Registration webpart,By using email as username it is woking fine...
