Limiting the page types

hi,

I have a page with 6 different sections,in that every section i need to keep some data as editable, Please help me how can I achieve this I didn't want to create 6 page types for a single page. is it any approach for doing it.

Hi Khathun,

You can achieve this by using some webparts (Editable text, Editable image, etc) or widgets (static text, Rich text, Editable image, etc).

As Anton has suggested, widgets seem the best option for you.

But it also depends if you want to use any of those 6 pieces of content on different pages. So the same content on 3 pages and different on others. Then I would suggest a single page type in a folder or container page type. Then add the different content pieces as individual content page types. Then use a widget or web part to call the different pieces of content. This will allow you to have commonly used content pieces for this. You could also use related pages for this as well.

It just depends on what you require and how flexible you want it to be.
