LicenseLimitation Bug With Free Version

Hi All,

I have installed the free version locally on my pc.

I have setup my masterpage and a few site pages.

As soon as i go to add any web part, be it editable text or pageplaceholder i get an error:

"The page cannot be displayed due to license limitations" "The license limit for feature Administrators was exceeded. Please check the event log to get more details"

The event log has a problem with workflow versioning. But this is a base install and workflow hasnt even been turned on.

Any ideas how to get around this?

In the end i solved this by reinstalling the free version without any of the demo sites and it works a treat now.

I don't believe this is a bug. The free version only allows for one global admin. Check the Users app and see how many "Global Admin" users you have. Once you resolve that, you'll be set.

I'm having similar issues. As suggested, I attempted to delete all the user accounts that were loaded when I installed Kentico to ensure I didnt have more than one admin, but I am running into the same error messages as I do when trying to add web parts. Is there a limitation on deleting/destroying users? Is there a limitation on the web parts we can use with a free license? I too am trying to add an editable text web part to a blank master page. I am not using webfarms, as far as I know. The feature in Settings > Versioning & Synch is not enabled.
