Kentico v13.0.167 Hotfix failing

Alex Bromilow asked on November 28, 2024 14:55

I'm trying to apply the lastest Kentico 13 Hotfix, v13.0.167, and I keep running into the following issue when trying to run the site:

Exception: [QueryProvider.GetQuery]: Query CMS.PageUrlPath.GetPathPrefixes not found!

I have tried re-setting all my changes and restoring the database, then running the hotfix again and still the same issue.

I have also tried with a different database to see if there was something on the existing one causing the issue but I get the same problem there.

I've followed the hotfix instructions:

I ran the hotfix wizard on the project files and resolved any merge issues

I ran the SQL upgrade scripts on the databases, 'default' on the CMS database and 'separated' on the EMSData database

I loaded up the CMS and checked the event log, can see the start and finish tasks for the hotfix with no errors between them

Has anyone else experienced this issue with the hotfix and, if so, were you able to resolve it?

What is the history of the projects? Were they upgraded from K12? What customization was done? How were the previous hotfixes applied? What is your starting version? If you check the hotfix SQL, there is part which is adding the stored procedure to the DB - it was done in hotfix no. 72 (line 1206).
So, it seems that some of the previous hotfixes failed, was not applied right - and you can hope that this is the only thing that failed. The best way would be restoring the backups. But you can also try executing the part for hotfix 72 which is adding the procedure and if it was just the only thing that failed, everything should be fine and you can apply the latest hotfix.
