Kentico roles and permission for media library

Hi,

I wonder how can we set roles and permissions for accessing media library so certain users can only see certain folders in the media library to work with. We had users accidentally delete the parent folder of the media library so all the images used for the site was gone. To prevent this to happen again, we want to set permissions more granularly. How can we do that?

We are in Kentico portal engine 11.

Security roles can only be applied at the library level and not the folder level.

Ok, but can the red Delete icon be removed so users can only edit/add new but not delete anything?

There really isn't. It's all managed at the media library level. There are no permissions specific to the media files, only the media library. The UI Personalization abilities don't allow you to remove the delete icon either.
