Kentico MVC for Developers course

Lucia Long asked on September 28, 2019 00:31

Hi there. I just wondered if anybody took the Kentico MVC for developers course as the description of contents is quite vague and the price tag quite high so I would like to make sure it's money well spend. Is it worth doing/buying? Does it go quite into depth regarding layouts and templates and menus/drop down menus?

Thanks a lot.

It is worth the money. If you're a Kentico Partner, check with your partner manager to see if they can get more course information for you.

Lucia,

The course does do a good job of helping you get the main concepts of how to build an MVC site down, setup templates and the manual routing solutions that come out of the box w/ Kentico. It really helped me quite a bit in my first site build and I've used it as a reference a few times. I would also recommend checking out a few blogs along the way that have helped me too!

The documentation is also very helpful and I find myself constantly going back and referring to it as I'm building a site.

The course is worth the money and as Brenden said, if you're a partner, you could get the course for a discount for free.

Thanks a lot guys. This was very helpful. I shall purchase and get down with it. I find it hard to get working just from documentation and tutorial alone.
