Kentico analytics stopped working

Philip Butler asked on April 3, 2014 03:25

We have built a website for a customer www.alhayat.com and enabled the kentico analytics using kentico 7, on the site we display page views to the user when they scroll over an article. This was working fine since go live over a month ago (22.02.2014) but as of 02.04.2014 the kentico analytics have stopped working (no page views being recorded).

steps I have followed:

  1. Checked the settings in the cms site manager > online marketing web analytics to confirm enabled

  2. Checked the log files to make sure old data is being archived deleted.

  3. created a temp folder and copied from web analytics to make sure corrupt file or dodgy data not causing the problem.

  4. Run IIS restart from command line to restart IIS to restart application pools etc.

Does anyone have any other suggestions on how to rectify this issue ? process is working but no data being recorded.

There are two scheduled tasks

  • Process activities log
  • Process analytics log

Ensure they are both running

You can find scheduled tasks in Site Manager>Administration>Scheduled Tasks. By default it shows site specific settings. You will need to switch to Global (top left of the page) to see those tasks.
