In a Kentico 12 MVC updated to the latest hotfix we suddenly started having an issue where the dashboard was blank when logging into the CMS. We noticed errors in the webpage console related to scripts not loading due to a bad request. All of these script requests have the AppPath macro. This site is hosted in Azure and no changes have been made to it in 6 months. This started happening suddenly. The issue is documented here https://devnet.kentico.com/articles/troubleshooting-dashboard-issues but does not address solving the issue for a site in Azure
A restart of the CMS App in Azure is not enough. I had to stop then start the app. This cleared the cache and it worked again
