We attempted to upgrade Kentico version 10 to 11. There were no errors upon upgrade completion and the site loaded with a blank page and the option to click the admin link. When clicked, we would get a server error with the following message,"[WebFarmTaskManager.CanCreateTask]: Task type 'DICTIONARYCOMMAND'". (See image link)
It's a single server, and Web Farm is not enabled at all in the system settings. We followed the version 11's upgrade documentation section called, "Steps before you start the upgrade", and we did make sure that the "Roslyn" NET Compiler Platform was installed. We don't have any custom code either. Any advice would be much appreciated.
This error can be also caused by failed application initialization during startup. Does recycling the application pool help? What are the system specs where are you running Kentico? Does it meet the system requirements for Kentico 11? Are there any limitations set on the application pool in the IIS?
Publish first CMSApp_AppCode, then, in the same folder, CMSApp, but be carefull that the option "Delete all existing files prior to publish" disabled
