issue with manually running sql update

I just ran the latest kentico hotfix for 13 on my local machine and all went fine, I pushed the files to our staging server and ran the sql update to the staging database and all seemed to be fine, everything looks to be running fine but the hotfix number did not update in the admin.

Might I have missed a step?

I also see in the DB that it says the new version in the settingskey table.

how was the push done? Were all the files overwritten? Including the \CMS\App_Data\Install\Hotfix.txt file?

So, This may have been part of it, but we use a file compare tool to push out changes but because files on the server have a different timestamp i keep the file date turned off and some files didn't get moved out because the file size didn't change. I just pushed out all the files and that seemed to fix it.
