Is it any web.config or manifest key to make an .dll undicoverable

Tomasz Kosinski asked on February 19, 2016 12:26

I have a frequent error messages like:

Source: Discovery
(...)
EventDescription: Could not load file or assembly 'html2pdf.dll' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest. (...)

This is a non-manageable .dll which is a pert of 3rd party library. It it any way to mark this dll as undiscoverable?

If you can remove it, then do so. If it's part of another library, then go back to the developer(s) of that other library and report the issue.

But the problem is specific to Kentico Discovery mechanism which tries to discover all assemblies in a bin folder (or I'm wrong?). Web site runs properly as well as 3rd party code. Problem is only Discovery message from Kentico about discovery issues
