Integrate Website from Kentico 7 to Kentico 8 version

Hello,

There is one of my client website which is currently developed in Kentico 7 and now he want to integrate it into Kentico 8. Hello,

I need help or guidance to know about the flow of integrating Kentico 7 to Kentico 8.

Is there any way by which integration can be perform directly or need to implement all the features and functionality like Page templates, web parts, document types, etc manually from scratch?

Please guide me to achieve this.

Rahul,

If you have a fairly simple website you can export it from v7 and import it into v8. I've found a few things you need to do after the fact but it does work. If you have any custom webparts or code you will have to export and import those manually.
