Insert Macro into Form Field

Brian Brown asked on October 6, 2022 22:39

In previous version of Kentico, I would create a From Field and then for the default value I would set it to a Macro of {% BrowserInfo.UrlReferrer #%} and it was capture my referring URL. In Kentico 13, how do I do that? I tried a form field and set the default textbox to {% BrowserInfo.UrlReferrer #%} but that just saved it as text.

Hi Brian, I don't believe this is possible in KX13. Here you can find the list of supported macro's in forms: https://docs.xperience.io/managing-website-content/forms/using-macros-with-forms. Alternatively you can create your custom form component: https://docs.xperience.io/developing-websites/form-builder-development/developing-form-components. Cheers, Jeroen
