How to modify live URL of Container Pagetype

I have a pagetype Container and it has a live URL that lead to nowhere. I want to modify it, how can I do that. The live URL in General Tab https://www.dropbox.com/s/jmsciqoab22786b/Capture.PNG?dl=0

Go to Page Properties -> URLs tab -> try checking Use custom URL Path and then enter your own "Path or Pattern" field and Save. Once you save, you will see new updated URL in Properties -> General tab.

Hi Swapna, can you please tell me more specific? Because I check the Page Properties and found no URLs tab. I want to specific that my pagetype is Container and it has no publish html page. I just want to know how that Live URL is generated automatically (rule) and how can I modify that.

For Kentico MVC -

Select Page/Container/Folder from content tree
Go to Page/Container/Folder Properties tab
Select Page alias option
Update page alias textbox with your desired value and it will update container name on live URL.

Hi Hung,

Since Kentico 12 MVC doesn't have URL routing out of the box, it really depends on how you are handling the routing. Are you using any third-party module? What is the configuration of URL Pattern for this page type?
