How to host kentico site in IIS 7.0 already running on localhost

After installation of Kentico 8.2 on my local machine, a default website has been created which runs on my local machine (using local host). Is there any way to host this site on IIS 7.0 with any other urls. Please elaborate.

Also how can I make the above hosted site on my local machine accessible to anonymous public?

Hi,

This depends on your IIS settings. You need to configure the site bindings and also the hosts file. I would recommend to check the IIS web site and forums for more details since this depends more on your web server setup rather than Kentico. There can be found some information in our documentation too - IIS configuration
