How to change the images in the image banner in e-commerce sample site

I hope you're not using the E-Commerce sample site as a re-branded client or production site. This is not the intent of the sample sites, at all.

Why isn't it a good idea to use sample sites for production?

1. Because they are SAMPLE sites.
2. Because they are not made for production.
3. If you run an upgrade or hotfix and have made modifications to any of the custom code files for those sample sites, your customizations could be overwritten because Kentico updates those sample site files.
4. None of the templates are reusable.
5. Your site will look just like the sample site with a few different images. Not really showcasing a Kentico Partner's abilities to utilize Kentico.
6. Because they are SAMPLE sites.

Is there a guideline that can help me build my own site. Or should I start from scratch? I only attended the Developer Essentials course.

Is this the correct way to go? Creating a new site in the Sites application and selecting the second option:

1. Create a new site using a wizard

2. Use web template

I used the second option and I could create a new website based on the template of a sample site
