Yes it's possible but you need to create new action rule under workflow for check-in or check-out, Inside of that you need to maintain new rules according to your requirement.
- Step1:- Open workflow from kentico admin.
- Step2:- Click on actions in that right side menu.
- Step3:- Create new action according to your requirement.
