How do I link to the culture specific page alias?

Kurt Muller asked on April 18, 2018 13:51

Hi guys,

I have a situation where I have a site with multiple cultures and each culture has it's own specific alias, and I want to be able to link to that alias, instead of the default URL.

The link is been created in an editable text area and via the Content tab, I am selecting the page I want to link to, but doing this serves up the default path of the page and not the Culture alias.

Any ideas?

Kurt

Have you read the documentation yet on how to set up multilingual sites? More specifically on how to setup URLs for multilingual sites.

Hi Brendon. Yes I have. I've followed all those rules and still getting the incorrect results. My language repeater does not pick up the alias either for the different cultures, but rather makes use of the default culture alias.

I am having a similar issue with a multi domain culture site.

Did you ever find a solution for this?

I've followed the directions here: https://docs.kentico.com/k9/multilingual-websites/setting-up-multilingual-websites/configuring-urls-for-multilingual-websites

The "Live URL" for each page still uses the default domain name and does not change to match the current culture
