Help! New form field not displaying

Hello,

I have an existing contact form and I'm trying to add a new form field to it. I've successfully added the field in the back-end, and I've checked "show on public form" checkbox. However, the new form field is just not showing up on the live site.

I can successfully edit existing form fields and the changes take effect on the live site immediately, but when I try to add a new form field (no matter the type), it doesn't show up on the live website.

Any ideas or thoughts on this?

Check the layout of the form. If there's a custom layout you will have to manually add it there as well. Also if there is no custom layout you might check the Alternative forms for the same thing, the field missing.

Thanks for the mentions, kehren, i was having the same issue today and just by watching this thread and your answer, i check upon it on my site and resolved my issue before going to ask something.
